Thanks for the help - After multiple steps of troubleshooting, it actually appears that the camera was not happy about the Neewer Battery Grip being on the camera. Once I took the grip off, and put the battery door back on, it took off running just like it should. On 5D Mark II and 50D, enable LiveView shooting. If the camera asks for a firmware update, place Canon firmware on the card 2022/05/18 14:46 by names_are_hard.
