Hello, I have a 2018 Tiger 800 XCa that I bough last summer and I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust to make it sound a little meaner and get some better performance but I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the options. Are slip on mufflers pretty much the only option or is a rework of the entire exhaust a reasonable choice. I've always loved the 800 triple, just a gem, but, nothing really to say, other than throttle response is beautiful, and well, it's a great engine all round. New exhaust sounds much the same as when I bonged a hole in the baffle on my previous Tiger. Sounds just a little growly, and has a lovely burble. Don went with the Tiger 1200 XCa, the high-water mark in the Tiger line. It has an off-road focus, thanks to wire-spoked wheels and a 19-incher up front.
